plants in the park, which were brought by seafarers of Boka from various parts of the world. From 1979, there was a fish pond in the park, which was torn down due to its poor state after the earthquake. However, in 2000 by means of joint efforts from Tourist-Informative Center and the Herceg Novi City Hall, the fish pond was rebuilt on the same location
according to the project of a Herceg Novi citizen Boro Dabović, which was almost identical to the original project done by the engineer Momčilo Tapavica.

MAMULA ISLAND is known on the sea maps as the Lastavica
Island. It acquired its widely accepted name “Mamula” after the Austrian general Lazar Mamula who fortified it in the mid 19th century. Mamula is an uninhabited island located
at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, 3.4 nm from Herceg Novi. It is circular, 200 m in diameter. It is covered with low vegetation, it has a beach and a dock on its Northern side. During the both World Wars, there was a prison on the island and nowadays there is a commemorative inscription reminiscent

HOTEL "PLAŽA ZELENIKA" is the first hotel in Montenegro, which had its grand 100-year jubilee. Namely, in 1902 Dr. Antal Magyar, an aristocrat from from Budapest, built a hotel on the shore of the sea, on the beach surrounded by pine trees and greenery, which is why its original name was »The Green Beach Pension«. The first guests were foreigners thus marking that period as a start of the foreign tourism in Montenegro. Thanks to founder’s heirs, particularly his grandson Čaba Mađar, the history and importance of this hotel gained attention of many newspaper article, TV shows, publications, the most significant being a book “Hotel Plaža Zelenika” by Čaba Mađar, as well as the book “Zelenika...the birthplace of tourism” written by his brother, Dr. Zoltan Magyar. From 1948, when the hotel was nationalized, it has had several owners, and from 1991 it is the headquarters of the Serbia-Montenegro Navy Command. It is particularly interesting
