Riza Svete Bogorodice (Our Blessed Lady’s Robe) (The first church to be built in this location dates back to 12th century, an early Romanic period, even though it is not excluded that it might be even older. Parts of walls of the old church with its foundation are present in a very exquisite manner in the current one, and they can be seen through a glass window, which is placed in the level of the present church’s floor. The old apse is colored inside with frescos of the Byzantium style originating from the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century. It represents the most prominent attraction of the church of Riza Our Blessed Lady. Our Blessed Lady (Sv. Gospodja) (18th century),
Catholic church of St. Peter (Sv. Petar)(On the front wall of this little church there are spoils built in from an older building. Fragments with text and decorative plastic enlighten the time of a short-term domination of Franc state in this region, around year 805, when the first Benedictine covenant was built, which was torn down by Mongols in 1241. LUŠTICA  is a peninsula located at the right of the entrance of the Bay of Kotor. It covers an area of 47 km2 and it is 13 km long. Its highest point is the hill OBOSNIK 582 m. It has an extraordinarily lavish, 35 km long coastline, which represents 12% of the overall length of the Montenegrin shore. Its name originates from the Latin term LUŠTICA which most closely means glow or glimmering. It is also likely that the name originated from the appearance of this peninsula which resembles a husk, or perhaps from the word “lug” meaning grove (Luški). Luštica is the sunniest part of the Bay and this fact perhaps has to do with its name as well. The name Luštica is mentioned for the first time during the reign of King Radoslav (1223-1234) who gave it to the town of Kotor.
There are around 10 villages on the peninsula and over 400 inhabitants (ROSE, ZAMBELIĆI, MITROVIĆI, MRKOVI, ZABRĐE, KLINCI, BEGOVIĆI, BRGULI, RADOVANIĆI, MAROVIĆI...).
This is were some of the most attractive tourist sites and beaches are such as ŽANJICE, MIRIŠTE, ARZA, DOBREČ.
This area has an extremely rich cultural heritage comprising of 20 churches, out of which 18 Orthodox and 2 Catholic ones, which testifies about centuries-long harmonious coinhabitation in this region. One of the most sacral objects is the church of Sv. Lazar (St. Lazarus) from 1605 with a bell tower bearing both a cross and a half moon, even though the latter was once being put up for precautionary reasons because the Turks used to oppress people of the Luštica villages, and it is well known that the Turks never destructed religious symbols.
The church of St. Petka (Sv. Petka) is an interesting one. It is mentioned for the first time in 1605 in one of the documents of the Kotor Archives which reports that the church was painted in the Greek style. Supposedly, it was built around 1596. The inner walls of naos and iconostasis are painted with frescos of Dimitrije Daskale in 1704. There is an interesting painting with 17 scenes about life and miracles of St. Petka. It is considered to be the most general life cycle of that saint in the fresco art on the Balkans.
Balkans. On the East side of the entrance of the Bay, there is a small island with a monastery. Historic sources mention it for the first time in 1508 as Sv. Marija “de Sagnic” (St. Maria). The complex is composed of several buildings surrounded by tall walls. On the West side, there is a round tower. In the middle of the monastery complex, there is the Church of the Presentation of Our Blessed Lady in the Temple. The interior of the church was painted, and on the outer walls of the apse one can see traces of the fresco art.
Besides sacral there are very significant fortified structures from the period of Austro-Hungarian era (Arza). A specific architecture in the settlements on Luštica formed extremenly precious and authentic ambiental structures.

IGALO  - Even though it is a part of Herceg Novi, Igalo can almost be considered a town of its own with about 8,000 inhabitants. Its name derives from a Greek word meaning “shore-beach-seaside«. It is well known for being a tourist resort due to radioactive, medical sea mud from the BLATNA PLAZA (MUD BEACH - also known as OLD SPA) and it is a hub of the Montenegrin health tourism. Igalo is also famous for its unexploited mineral water called »Igaljka«. Its adjacent town is NJIVICE (known for the hotel »RIVIERA«, a nudist beach and the »Queen’s beach«).
